Position Title:

External Description: Maintenance Engineer is a hybrid individual contributor/leadership
position focused around ensuring uninterrupted operation of machining and
manufacturing equipment. This person
will also lead a group of maintenance staff to accomplish this goal.

This person will be responsible for ensuring timely responsiveness
to equipment and facility needs. They will ensure machines and equipment are
maintained preventatively to avoid breakdowns, and promptly remedied when a
breakdown occurs, while maintaining safe work practices and good housekeeping.

Additionally, the Maintenance Engineer will recommend and improve
maintenance business processes including project management, equipment
installations and moves, or new equipment/automation integrations.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

Provide preventative or remedial maintenance support for
facility and manufacturing equipment as required with internal or external
support services.

Work with others to improve processes and reduce cost
including equipment installation or relocation.

Purchase of non-critical supplies, monitor expenses, and
champion cost reduction ideas within the organization.

Maintain plant security systems and programs.

Provide leadership to keep operation with EPA and OSHA

Plan and lead facility changes and coordinate activities.

Prioritize and organize workload of maintenance activities.

Manage Coolant and manufacturing byproduct disposal and
recycling (chips, waste oil, etc)

Manage crane and hoist inspections.

Manage Maintenance of Facility

Lead, Coach, and Mentor maintenance staff.

Provide insight and support to new equipment including facility,
layout, and production equipment.

Provide direction to external vendors including
electricians, riggers, HVAC, general contractors, etc.

Assume other responsibilities as required.
