Perform setup, maintenance, part updates, and teardown of off-road vehicles for the product development team. Support the Development Technicians and perform entry level technician work on occasion.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
1.Prepares vehicles & components for testing and engineering functions.
2.Perform welding and fabrication to accommodate design updates.
3.Support Development Technicians.
4.Perform entry level Development Technician work on occasion; fabrication of prototype components, conducting basic driving tests, and collecting field data.
5.Preparation and cleanup of vehicles for group rides and events.
6.Maintain organization of vehicle inventory.
7.Prepare vehicles for sale or scrap.
8.Must be willing to accept assignment changes and maintain a positive attitude toward change.
9.Travel required periodically.
10.Maintain a clean, safe work area and meet OSHA requirements.
11.Maintain strict confidentiality.
12.Performs other assignments as requested.
SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE
1.High school diploma required
2.2-Year degree in technical field preferred
3.Basic computer skills required
4.Valid drivers license required
5.Must be capable of operating ORVs in extreme conditions
6.Must be capable of driving trucks with trailers (<26>
7.Must be capable of operating fork lifts
8.Strong mechanical aptitude
9.Powersports experience preferred
10.Data acquisition & diagnostic tool experience preferred
11.Fabrication & welding preferred
12.Minimum 3 years mechanic or technician experience preferred
