As a key member of the Motorcycle Team, the BI&A Insights Analyst is responsible for the creation, blending and presentation of data, analytics, reporting and insights for business & go-to-market efforts supporting the motorcycle division.

S/he is able to collaborate closely with key business stakeholders, Information Services technical leads, developers and data scientists, interactive and other specialists to guide accurate data collection, reporting, analysis and insights.

· Understand Polaris Motorcycles strategic goals and brands and work with cross-functional stakeholders to define requirements and develop insights around relevant KPIs
· Understand business context and data elements of varying data sources
· Conduct data queries, text mining and consolidation of numerous data sources for analysis
· Drive continuous improvement in data quality management processes and data integrity while ensuring accuracy and data governance is upheld, maintaining consistently high standards
· Design, develop, test, manage and maintain data models, workflows, reports, tools, templates and processes to simplify the analysis process as well as drive work optimization through report automation and stakeholder education
· Develop analytical approaches to identify potential emerging issues through data analysis and clearly communicate findings, summarize results and provide recommendations to varying levels of the organization
· Provide business value with analytics and reporting through testing and learning advocacy and analysis to empower data driven decision making at all levels
· Collaborate cross-functionally to influence decisions through ability to communicate actionable analytic results with business input to drive measurable change; managing test & measurement, campaign measurement and insights
· Leverage data to identify opportunities, develop testing models, execute tests in market, and report findings and recommendations to leadership to adjust in-market plan & execution

· Minimum of an Associate Degree or 5-7 years of equivalent work experience. Four (4) year degree preferred
· 4-6 years of work experience in analytics, business intelligence or statistical methods
· 1+ years of experience with query tools for extracting large datasets from various databases
· 1+ years of experience with analytical and data visualization tools such as Alteryx, Tableau, Power BI
· Demonstrated ability to drive insights and recommendations from the data
· Ability to meet deadlines and solve problems in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities, demands and timelines
· Excellent organizational, time management, and project planning/strategizing skills
· Ability to communicate complex results to less quantitatively sophisticated users
· Solid written and verbal communication skills and proven ability to work cross functionally at all levels of a matrix environment
· Intellectually curious, analytically rigorous, hard-working and a good business intuition are musts
· Strong Microsoft Office Suite Experience - Word, Excel, Access, SharePoint, PowerPoint
· Preferred education B.S. (graduate degree a plus) from a top institution in a quantitative or scientific field (Math/Stats, Analytics, Economics, Computer Science,or similar)
· 7+ years' experience at a top-tier omni-channel retail, e-commerce provider or in-house analytics department within a manufacturing environment
· Experience with interactive media data capture and analysis a plus, preferably Google Analytics
· Knowledge in conducting statistical analytics (statistical modeling, clustering, predictive analytics)
· Extensive experience in data queries, analysis, text classification and report generation
· Ability to communicate complex results to less quantitatively sophisticated users
