JOB SUMMARY:
The Sr. Systems Analyst is responsible for designing, developing and documenting complex business processes for the company's ERP platform - Microsoft Dynamics AX (2012 R3 and D365FO), with focus on projects and processes related to Finance, Costing, Supply chain, Trade and Logistics and Warehouse modules on our Microsoft AX 2012 R3 and D365 platform, including integrations with other supporting applications. The ideal candidate will have a demonstrated ability to comprehend business process and context, while also having technical skills to design and configure appropriate technical solutions.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES :

  • Understands the capabilities of the D365FO and AX2012 ERP platform and knows how to configure it to meet the business needs.
  • Takes initiative to work with business user and technical team members on system requirement gathering, analysis, design, configuration, testing and implementation.
  • Gather and document requirements. Develop functional design documents. Work with developers in implementation of technical design documents. Ensures the technical design conforms to functional requirements.
  • Responsible for providing data expertise and consulting related to operational reporting and analytics.
  • Evaluate and recommend business process and technology driven enhancement opportunities based on application system upgrades, releases and patches.
  • Primary support interface for the ERP with the business areas for issues, upgrades, training and enhancements.


SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE
Required
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Software Design, Computer Information Systems or equivalent
  • 7+ years of experience, with a Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Dynamics AX analyst role performing system analysis and writing functional specifications in D365FO and/or AX 2012
  • Good working knowledge of InterCompany Transactions, Costing, Billing, Purchasing and Receiving activities, such as generating requisitions, vendor set up, administering purchase orders, receiving goods, purchasing tools, resolving vendor discrepancies, etc.
  • Thorough understanding of the integration of finance with Supply chain, Trade and Logistics and Warehouse modules
  • Familiarity with X++ Language Programming
  • Thrives in a fast-paced environment with multiple project assignments
  • Strong written and verbal communication. Ability to effectively communicate with non-technical audience.
  • Excellent analytical and creative problem-solving skills
  • Strong team player


Preferred
  • Experienced with manufacturing, warehousing, and logistics business processes
  • Dynamics AX Certification
  • Experience with Dynamics 365 CE
  • Knowledge of Microsoft POWER platform is a plus.
