Job Title: IS Project Manager

Job Location: Plymouth, MN

Major Responsibilities: Lead and coordinate projects to ensure that they are completed according to timelines and budgets. Work closely with end users, business technologists, and others to understand and prioritize business goals and information needs, then develop project plans and business requirements. Develop and manage project timelines, tasks, resources, and budget. Actively participates in solution definition, validation, and implementation. Lead and guide cross-functional project team in delivering projects. Recommend tools, techniques, and processes to management to support business objective. Manage issues that arise while prioritizing high quality and timely delivery of the product. Ensure quality through planning, quality assurance, and quality control techniques. Collaborate with business partners to determine opportunities and priorities. Scope and structure initiatives into IS projects. Perform requirements gathering, work with business to provide status updates, open issues and resolutions. Effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels of the organization and drive communication across cross-functional project teams. Identify and execute continuous improvements to process and systems. Ensure adherence to quality standards and review project deliverables. Provide day-to-day system support to users, attend project and administrative meetings, and prepare status reports. Up to 10% travel required.

Job Requirements: Applicant must possess a Bachelor's or foreign equivalent degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering or related field and 3 years of professional experience in IS Project Management. Additionally, the applicant must have experience in the following: 1.) 3 years of experience in business analysis; 2.) 3 years of experience with product lifecycle management; 3.) 3 years of experience with visual mapping, including Value Stream Mapping, Process Flows, and Relationship Diagrams; 4.) 3 years of experience in agile and waterfall methodologies; 5.) 3 years of experience using Project Management software such as Workfront or Primavera; and 6.) 3 years of experience with PLM or ERP systems, such as PTC Windchill and Infor.
