JOB SUMMARY:

This role will support key finance analytics in the Global Strategic Operations organization. The position will work with cross-functional finance teams as well as business leaders across the plants, logistics, and material purchasing teams in a variety of critical initiatives. Key projects and analysis will include but not limited to production optimization, insourcing and vertical integration, acquisition analysis and integration, organizational optimization, and LEAN transformations across the Operations business. The role will be required to understand business requirements and drive robust modeling, analytics, and reporting for projects.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Provide financial support on key Business Development projects for the Operations team.

  • Support Manufacturing organization with Plant Network Optimization analytics.

  • Provide financial support on acquisition integration for the operations team; including vertical integration or insourcing analytics & execution.

  • Develop standard operating procedures for evaluating opportunities including but not limited to: insource / outsource decisions, greenfield site selection, and network volume shifts.

  • Develop and maintain relationships within finance and business partners; solicit feedback and provide closed loop communication system to enhance quality of service.

  • Support short and long term operational activities by developing, enhancing, and maintaining modeling tools that support product cost reporting and automation.




SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE & EDUCATION:

  • 3-7 years of experience in Accounting/Finance required

  • Experience with manufacturing operations; supply chain and product cost experience a plus.

  • Extensive experience in various (excel, PowerPoint, access) Microsoft tools required.

  • Demonstrated success developing tools to improve financial analysis and financial system added value to the functional group.

  • Successful candidate will have excellent communication and leadership skills.

  • Proven experience working with and influencing cross functional teams in a matrix organization.

  • Requires ability to successfully coordinate with others and work well in a fast paced, team centered environment
