The Electronic Parts Catalog (EPC) Product Owner is the driving force behind the delivery of Polaris' EPC strategy. The Product Owner works cross-functionally to manage the implementation of software tools and identify product development information needed for content development. Supervising the activities of the team responsible for creating the EPC content, leading the content development and delivery process, and distributing data to internal and external customers complete the holistic Product Owner responsibilities.


Recruit, retain, inspire, coach, and develop team members Lead the EPC content creation team to ensure optimum performance and quality of work. Guide planning and scheduling of work to meet timelines for Polaris eCommerce, Polaris dealers and internal customers. Drive the development of standard procedures and best practices Create relationships and engage internal customers in product development to ensure the timely flow of information Provide Project Management to coordinate timing and requirements. Lead the transition to new tools tools within the Publications team. Work with internal partners to develop the process to transform Engineering information into Service information and deliver that information to our customers, dealers and employees. Coordinate with internal and external IS resources. Serve as a Subject Matter Expert for internal initiatives and teams that desire to leverage the Polaris EPC data within their business systems and processes. Collaborate with external parts catalog partners to ensure the Polaris EPC data is integrated into their platforms and supports the needs of our dealers worldwide. Collect and manage department metrics to monitor progress and display the status of Parts Catalog activity. Identify, present, and implement innovative Long Range Plans to progress team and department capabilities.


  • Bachelor's degree in Communication, Engineering, Business, Information Systems, Technical Documentation, or a related field
  • Cross-functional influencing capabilities, able to work well across and up and down the organization
  • Analytical problem-solving skills- balance practical experience with creative solutions and consistent follow-up
  • Demonstrated leadership and coaching skills
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, varied environment with a commitment to delivering results
  • Precise attention to detail and organization
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Knowledge of Polaris/Powersports &/or Automotive products
  • Experience in the replacement parts industry
  • Experience with PTC software tools preferred (Windchill, Creo Illustrate)
  • 5+ years of experience in a technical lead or parts related role preferred


Very fast-paced, dynamic culture in an office environment. Travel as needed (approximately 10-20%)
