ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Primary Technical Lead for thermal across the enterprise Provides expertise in design for thermal management - all vehicles
Guide technical team(s) on current & future product development Lead development of technical specifications, designs, material
selection & validation methods Performs research & benchmarking related to thermal design & material selection Identifies
safety/quality improvement opportunities & works with teams to implement Assists in related product investigations; facilitates
root cause analyses
SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE:
BS in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Automotive Engineering
8+ years of thermal product development experience around vehicles Knowledge of thermal shielding materials for exhaust systems
& vehicle components Understand thermal management of internal combustion engines Experience using simulation as predictive
tool relative to cooling, exhaust, and engine compartments in vehicles Proven communicator throughout all levels of an organization
EV propulsion knowledge/experience preferred; DFMEA/PFMEA experience preferred
