JOB SUMMARY
Join
the Polaris Product Compliance Team as a Regulatory Engineer. Identify and obtain Global certifications and homologations
for motorcycles and three-wheeled vehicles. Track and implement global product regulations including emissions, noise, and
product safety standards. Develop and execute compliance processes, systems, and test plans.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES &
RESPONSIBILITIES
Obtain and maintain regulatory certifications of Polaris products, as assigned.
Conduct and support product development process (PDP) and part release system (PRS) compliance reviews and prepare required deliverables.
Ensure product compliance with NHTSA, US EPA, CARB, Transport Canada, Environment Canada, EU type approval, and other requirements.
Participate in compliance project status and continuous improvement meetings.
Implement regulatory requirements for new products and international markets.
Plan and coordinate with engineering, product management, and manufacturing to incorporate regulatory requirements in product specifications and validation plans.
Provide input to industry associations and stay informed of new requirements.
Maintain and support development of automated compliance systems.
SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE & EDUCATION
B.S. degree in Engineering or related field with a minimum of 3 years of related experience
Prior experience in product compliance and/or vehicle certification required
Ability to communicate effectively with global partners
Motorsports enthusiast with vehicle systems knowledge
Self-starter who can apply engineering principles to regulatory requirements
High ethical standards and excellent research and communication skills
