JOB SUMMARY

Responsible for working closely with both Gov & Defense and Manufacturing Operations leadership to provide regional forecasting, planning, and inventory management for assigned product category(s).

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide and analyze data for Polaris Gov & Defense Forecasts and make recommendations as appropriate
  • Responsible for the execution and consolidation of rolling forecasts for specific category(s)
  • Develop future forecast analysis/collaboration with SIOP team
  • Maintain and Manage min/max safety stock parts/unit - WIP
  • CRM Order Entry - Convert quote to Order
  • MAPICS/ASI order entry
  • Leverage Logility software for specific category(s) and apply to all aspects of demand planning process (S&OP)
  • Assist Gov & Defense operations & sales team by regularly providing and analyzing data on:
    • Order trends / forecasting
    • Retail / ship forecasts
    • Dealer inventory levels / DSO analysis / Instock %
  • Lead weekly category management review
  • Provide and analyze data on weekly retail, order, ship trends, and instock %
    • Lead the process to increase / decrease weekly flex builds and colors
    • Work with Manufacturing to identify and communicate changes
  • Responsible for ensuring Category Retail Forecast accuracy by:
    • Updating monthly reports
    • Identifying models with low accuracy and determining ways to improve
  • Provide high level Forecast Trends that support internal PII and industry projections by analyzing segments, competitors and regions
  • Key liaison with Manufacturing on ship / build planning
  • Manage Sales Ops phone/case queue
  • Assist in working POs, warranty issues, and order invoicing issues
  • Other projects as required


MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

  • Associate's Degree with 2+ years experience or equivalent working experience with degree required
  • 2+ years' experience in business analytics
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work successfully within a team, cross-functionally and independently
  • Ability to lead through ambiguity by demonstrating strong analytic, strategic, innovative thinking and problem solving
  • Proven track record of organization skills and project management skills
  • Ability to multi-task and work in fast paced environment
  • Exceptional Excel and analytical skills
  • High Proficiency in demand planning systems
