JOB SUMMARY: The Industrial Engineer for Assembly will be responsible for overall Cycle Time/Takt time maintenance and analysis in ProPlanner for the ATV and Snow assembly lines. Based on analysis, improvement projects will be identified and implemented to achieve year over year efficiency gains. In addition to Cycle Time/Takt time responsibility, this position will incorporate Safety and Quality measurements to further optimize job content and job rotation for ATV and Snow. This role will need to interact with line employees, engineers, supervisors in addition to Quality and Safety personnel to achieve desired results.
Develops and maintains Cycle Time/Takt time database and identifies opportunities for improvement
Drives Humantech for each station and proposes ideas to improve stations with regards to safety
Coordinates line rate changes and incorporates Humantech and PFMEA data to improve overall process with regards to Safety and Quality
Develops rotation and cross-training plans to maximize safety and minimize quality impacts
SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE
5 + years of experience as an Industrial Engineer
Manufacturing environment experience
Bachelors degree IE or ME degree
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
ProPlanner experience is a plus
Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
