Leads the cross-functional development, alignment and execution of the monthly Motorcycle SIOP process to deliver the Retail / Ship / Dealer Inventory plan. Partners with the Operations and Manufacturing teams to drive continuous SIOP improvements. Provides detailed quarterly and annual retail, ship and dealer inventory plans plus finished goods (FG) inventory forecasts. Integrates RFM goals into the SIOP process.


  • Leads the coordination and alignment of the MC North America 12+ month retail plan
    • Utilizes statistical tools, promotional plans and management insights to inform accurate 12+ month NA retail plans
    • Leverages industry retail projections that integrate with Polaris market share assumptions
    • Presents, aligns and drive consensus on retail plan with broader Motorcycle cross functional partners
  • Consolidates the worldwide Motorcycle SIOP ship plan
    • Integrates retail planning, order trends, dealer inventory targets, and P&L needs into the 12+ month N.A. ship plan
    • Drives alignment with cross functional partners on dealer inventory & NA ship targets
    • Lead the consolidation of other channel demand to provide a one-number world-wide ship plan and deliver to manufacturing
  • Partners with the broader SIOP team to identify and implement continual improvement opportunities
    • Utilizes systems and processes to improve efficiencies & data accuracy across the value stream
    • Develops and recommends KPIs to drive improvement
  • Integrates Retail Flow Management (RFM) goals into SIOP
    • Aligns RFM dealer profile goals with SIOP dealer inventory targets
    • Balances FG levels to support RFM lead times & financial goals
    • Partners with manufacturing to deliver flexibility strategies to support RFM lead times
  • Optimizes FG Inventory planning to deliver high service levels while supporting financials & balance sheet metrics
    • Partners with Operations to develop the strategy and plan to optimize inventories for P&L & RFM goals
    • Develops and delivers the NA FG inventory projections for the next 12+months
  • Team Management and Development
    • Establish and manage clear goals for team
    • Provide coaching and employee development

  • Bachelors Degree required in business or relevant field
  • 5+ years relevant experience; Demand Planning, SIOP and process development
  • Ability to work and communicate effectively in a cross-functional environment; driving alignment
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines and projects
  • Demonstrated ability to lead a team
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Strong analytical skills; Advanced excel knowledge; Preferred experience in Alteryx and Business Intelligence (BI)
