This position will take an active role in all aspects of ORV product commercialization finance as well as support USMCA. This role will partner closely with the Product, Engineering, and Product Line Sales teams to support and lead financial analysis throughout the PDP, LRP, and LRPP processes. This role will actively support and help inform business decisions to allow for the business to meet its long-term financial commitments. This role will also serve as primary liaison between ORV Finance team and Trade Compliance team for USMCA trade agreement compliance, ensuring ORV products meet thresholds necessary to quality for duty benefits.
The Senior Financial Analyst will be a key business partner to the ATV, RGR, GEN, and RZR Product teams. They will complete financial analysis and develop tools that will enable the business to be managed from a multi-year portfolio perspective on a continuous basis. They will actively support several ORV new product programs throughout the PDP process by providing business case financials, presenting those financials in PDP gate reviews, and influencing business decisions based on financial metrics.
This role will function as a key partner in the PF1 and product commercialization initiatives that have been kicked off in 2021.Reporting relationship will be a solid line into the ORV Finance Manager while continuously supporting their cross-functional partners within ORV.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
o Become a business partner within the Product, Engineering, and Product Line Sales teams. Partner with the cross-functional ORV teams in business case development.
o Support ORV teams through PDP process by providing accurate business case financials (NPV, IRR, Investment, GP%), presenting those financials in PDP gate reviews, and influencing business decisions based on financial metrics.
o Subject matter expert for PDP business case financials best practices
o Support in the consolidation of the ORV portfolio throughout the year, including annual LRP and LRPP planning processes.
o Provide accurate ad hoc financial analysis for business partners
o Develop and support new tools and processes in support of PF1 and product commercialization initiatives.
o Support cross-functional decisions through a financially responsible lens
o Support USMCA financial analytics
o Coordinate periodic data gathering/analysis across multiple Finance teams - including plants, supply chain, engineering, and corporate finance - to be used in calculating Regional Value Content (RVC).
o Interpret USMCA requirements and general ledger account usage to ensure RVC is calculated completely and accurately
o Work with Engineering and Global Sourcing organizations to aid modeling of future RVC to ensure continued USMCA duty benefits on new products
SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE
o Bachelors degree in finance, accounting, or related field
o 4 - 6 years of experience in Finance/Accounting required
o Strong process, analytical, influencing and communication skills
o Detail and deadline orientated
o Ability to multi-task and manage multiple priorities; Be flexible and able to adapt to changing priorities
o Extensive experience in various Microsoft tools required (Excel, PowerPoint); OneStream, MAPICS, Alteryx, Power BI and other query tool experience a plus
o Demonstrated success developing tools to improve processes and financial analysis
o Proven experience working with and influencing cross functional teams
