This newly created role will be responsible for driving data and analytics efforts across ORV Finance and pave the way for analytical efforts across Finance in Polaris.

This role will develop both the insights and analytics tool kit for ORV Finance as well as the standard work that we need to adopt in order to have hard-hitting business insights that lead to better decision making. This position will be part of broader Digital Transformation efforts and will partner with key stakeholders across ORV and Finance and act as a liaison and influencer across many finance groups including Corporate and other Powersports Business Units. The role reports directly to the VP & CFO of the ORV business unit.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Develop and execute an ORV Finance Data & Analytics roadmap that identifies desired outcomes, tools and standard work to drive better insights, process, and business decisions. Define and maintain an agile portfolio of Data & Analytics projects; with continuous updates to Finance and GBU partners Facilitate Data and Analytics prioritization efforts across ORV Finance for Operations, FP&A, and Engineering Lead development and enhancement of tools to drive Financial Planning - including LRP, Forecasting, Budgeting, and analysis of actuals Lead team to develop tools and analytical acumen across ORV Finance and PII Finance. Cross-functional partnership, influence, and leadership across the GBU and within the Finance organization. Includes advancing broader Finance Digital Transformation efforts. Facilitate back-end data improvements with IS and Data Engineering resources to ensure seamless, accurate information is presented to the business Identify gaps and opportunities in standard and self-serve reporting and work across ORV Finance and business partners to reduce waste and increase visibility to core business drivers Regularly report out on current state and workplans

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE & EDUCATION

Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or related field required. 5-7 years of experience in Accounting/Finance preferred. Strong analytical and technical skills to drive analytical work-flows. Experience with Snowflake, Alteryx, and PowerBI preferred. Project management experience required - agile environment experience preferred Experience working through ambiguity to define problems, develop alternatives for solutions and implement solutions with measurable results Ability to communicate and collaborate at all levels, including technical & business partners. Ability to work well in a fast paced, team centered environment.
