Primary technical support for integrated vehicle safety performance for Polaris Provide safety-related information and expertise for vehicle systems like brakes, driveline, steering, suspensions and tires/wheels as well as vehicle control and stability - all vehicles Customer data processing to understand trends in safety-related field data; communicate findings with Engineering teams to support future product development Lead continuous improvement efforts to coordinate Engineering design intent & process control in Manufacturing Assembly for brake system subassembly & bleeding, suspension system alignment, and other similar safety-related processes Actively investigate field data to further learnings and insights for safety-related performance; assists in related product investigations; facilitates root cause analyses

BS in Mechanical, Automotive, or Manufacturing Engineering 5+ years of product development experience involving vehicle design, data analysis, safety performance, and manufacturing Overall understanding of related FMVSS, NHTSA, SAE, & ROHVA standards Preferred passive and active safety systems experience, hardware and/or CAE Thorough knowledge of vehicle chassis systems; preferred experience with ABS/regenerative braking, vehicle stability control, descent control, active braking, or other software-integrated chassis safety controls Proven communicator throughout all levels of an organization DFMEA/PFMEA experience preferred; high interest in on- and off-road powersports
