The Motorcycle Operations Senior Financial Analyst will partner with the Operations team to provide analytics to support strategic recommendations for management. They will lead the FP&A for Motorcycle Operations and be highly involved in analytics and recommend actions to drive gross profit expansion. Interested candidates should have 4-6 years of experience, enhanced communication skills, an ability to bring recommendations forward, drive for continuous improvement and a passion to understand complex systems.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Lead calendar & consolidation of the month end close, forecast, budget, and long range planning processes for Motorcycles operations. Prepare consolidated results & analytics.

  • Coordinate Monthly Operating Reviews within Operations and other Key Metric Reporting.

  • Responsible for budgeting and forecasting as it pertains to GBU operations specific costs, including but not limited to License fee Cost Projections.

  • Responsible for consolidation and analytics, budgeting and forecasting as it pertains to excess & obsolete raw material inventory.

  • Responsible for consolidation, reporting, and analytics for raw material and whole good inventory for Motorcycles.

  • Create financial models to aide and support overall motorcycle business as it pertains to business cases, product development cycles, and gross profit expansion.

  • Perform ad hoc financial analysis for projects, including but not limited to logistics, materials, plant operations and others as assigned.

  • Partner with SIOP team to coordinate analytics and reporting around build & ship projections.

  • Consolidate and coordinate Capital & Tooling for Motorcycle operations.

  • Coordinate SOX controls and reporting as it relates to operations.


SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE

  • Bachelor degree in accounting, finance, or related field.

  • 4 - 6 years of experience in Accounting/Finance required.

  • Experience in FP&A, cost accounting, or Manufacturing / Operations finance preferred.

  • Strong analytical and communication skills, detail and deadline oriented.

  • Ability to multi-task and manage multiple priorities. Be flexible and able to adapt to changing priorities.

  • Extensive experience in various (Excel, PowerPoint, Access) Microsoft tools required. OneStream, PowerBI, and other query & data tools experience a plus.

  • Demonstrated success developing tools to improve financial analysis and financial system added value to the functional group.

  • Successful candidate will have excellent communication and leadership skills with previous experience working with senior management on a routine basis.

  • Proven experience working with and influencing cross functional teams.
