Position Title:

External Description: TAYLOR-DUNN HR Coordinator

The HR Coordinator is primarily responsible for providing day-to-day support to the HR department, including areas relating to payroll and benefits for the Taylor-Dunn Anaheim site. This is a hands-on position that requires the ability to handle all aspects of payroll processing and assisting with the administration of the organization's benefits programs. This position will have responsibility for ensuring compliance with applicable federal, state, and local regulatory requirements while also attending to the needs of internal and external customer requirements.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • On-site HRIS expert, including data entry, report generation, and system optimization in ADP.
  • Ensures payrolls are processed in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Conduct audits on time records and other payroll changes to ensure accuracy of payroll.
  • Process manual checks including final checks and replacement checks.
  • Assist with benefits administration including New Enrollments, Open Enrollments, Life Events, and Wellness initiatives.
  • Supports quarterly and year-end tasks.
  • Support employee transactions including creating job requisitions, moving direct reports, misc. changes, promotions, etc.
  • Assist in New Hire Onboarding - coordinate start dates, process new hire paperwork, initiate drug screen & background checks.
  • Provide day-to-day site support, including interacting with employees and providing answers to basic HR and pay and benefit questions.
  • Create detailed reports using Excel and ADP.
  • Create and maintain org charts and distribute organizational announcements.
  • Facilitate the calendaring, planning and communication of site events.
  • Provide support for full range of HR related processes including recruiting, interview scheduling, personnel files, onboarding/orientation, performance management, etc.
  • Understand all HR processes and continually seek for improvement opportunities.
  • Maintains employee confidence and protects payroll operations and benefits by keeping information confidential.
  • Other duties as assigned.


Required Skills and Experiences
  • 2+ years relevant work experience in HR,Payroll/Benefits Admin or related field
  • Bachelors degree in HR, Finance, Accounting or Business is preferred
  • Highly organized, self-directed business style, with strong ability to prioritize and attention to detail
  • Strong written/verbal communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to navigate through ambiguity
  • Proficiency in all MS Office software - Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook
  • Experience working with Excel advanced formulas and functions such as V-lookup
  • Experience working with ADP
  • Driven; track record of delivering consistent results
